Fighting Antisemitism

The past few years we have seen an increase in Antisemitism in the sports and entertainment worlds. To fight this, We will create an educational class around the films Glickman and Adidas vs. Puma that brings together athletes, entertainers and our audience, teaching them the history of antisemitism and why is so important to fight it today. This will include a screening tour around the country creating educational opportunities for their communities with filmmaking workshops around artifacts from the 1936 Olympics. You can join us in this fight by making a donation to fund this programming.

Gender Equality

Our platform is focused on equality and creating a level playing field for all. We are committed to creating content that equally represents male and female athletes. We are partnering with organizations to shine a light on female athletes.

Glickman

We will lead off our sportscasting programming track by featuring a film on Marty Glickman, one of the two Jewish US athletes who weren’t allowed to compete in the 1936 Olympics. “Glickman” is an illuminating portrait of a man who overcame prejudice to forge a remarkable career in sports, setting the gold standard for athletes and sports broadcasters past, present and future.

Adidas vs. Puma

Adidas vs. Puma tells the story of the Dassler brothers who started one of the first athletic shoe companies in the world in 1920’s Germany. Their story is intertwined with history and Jessie Owens accomplishment of stomping down white supremacy with every step he took on the track at the 1936 Olympics, while wearing their shoes. It also touches on the antisemitism that Jewish athletes faced and will lead us into further programming in 2022 on the 2 US Jewish runners, Marty Glickman and Sam Stoller, who weren’t allowed to compete at the 1936 Olympics. The Dassler brothers went on to found iconic sports brands Adidas & Puma after WWII.
