Phi Slama Jama Kids Book

ISFF is partnering with Artist Donkee Boy and his “Young Art Pros” students to create an animated kids book that tells the story of the 1980’s UH basketball team, known as Phi Slama Jama. You can support our educational programming and these students by making a donation today!

Josh’s Inspirational Journeys, Dream Big

Sports Film Fest is working with young artists (ages 10-21) to help create our animated films and kids books, titled “Josh’s Inspirational Journeys, Dream Big.” These animated films and books will use the power of sports and storytelling to educate and inspire the next generation.

Dr. George Grant’s kids book

ISFF is working on an animated kids book that tells the powerful story of Dr. George Grant. Dr. Grant became the first Black professor at Harvard, a dentist specializing in Cleft Palates and was the inventor of the golf tee.

Michael Montgomery Kids Book

ISFF is working with Michael Montgomery on a kids book that tells his powerful story of overcoming a congenital heart defect to play at Texas A&M and then in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers. You can view the completed book here: “Heart of a Lion.”
